Together with our Alliance for Youth (A4Y) Partners, we are on a mission to help create and provide economic opportunities for the new generation of innovative, ambitious, and passionate individuals by providing real-world job experience and opportunities to boost future employability.
The world today needs young people to share their thoughts and ideas as we work towards tackling global issues such as those included in our Generation Regeneration plan. Through our Global Youth Alliance, Nestlé strives to help young leaders in their pursuit of a bright future by equipping them with the tools demanded by the challenges of our rapidly evolving world.
We live in a bit of a paradox: companies need young and experienced people, and youths need a job to get that experience. In 2021 at the Nestlé Caribbean Youth Summit, the Alliance for Youth together pledged over 3000 job opportunities in the Anglo-Dutch Caribbean for individuals between the ages 16- 29 by 2024. We continue this journey through hosting a Virtual Career Fair on the 7th and 8th July 2022 where future leaders across the Anglo-Dutch Caribbean will have the opportunity to engage with prospective employers, connect with vacancies, and ask questions to executives of leading organizations.
