As the leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness Company, it is Nestlé’s responsibility to partner consumers on the road to leading a healthy lifestyle. Our annual Health Fair and 5k Run/Walk seeks to do just that.
A Great Success: Over 3,000 consumers impacted
Through the support of various NGOs including the T&T Heart Foundation, the Chest Association, the Cancer Society of Trinidad & Tobago, the Diabetes Association as well the Ministry of Health, we are able to offer our consumers free BMI testing and other relevant tests, together with Nutrition Consultations and lectures, in addition to an aerobic warm-up, fitness and dental demonstrations.
Our consumers are exposed to lots of information on non-communicable diseases, sampling of products, fun activities for kids, giveaways, and most importantly an opportunity to participate in a 5kk run/walk, an integral part of leading a healthy lifestyle.
This year our Health Fair hosted over 3,000 consumers with approximately 2,500 persons participating in the 5k run/walk.
